Q: I have found a product cheaper on the Internet, will you price match it?
A:
We always try to be competitive as you will see from many of our customer comments. However, it is worth remembering that with Hempstead Plant you get more than just the machine; you get the expert advice, customer care and the ongoing service support. As with all types of machinery problems can arise, accidental damage can occur and spare parts or repairs are needed. At Hempstead Plant we can help you with all this and we will provide you with the advice you need to get the machine up and running. All machines undergo a thorough PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) and with larger machines we offer a demonstration upon delivery.
 
Q: How often should I service my machine and when?
A: We recommend that all grass cutting machinery should be serviced once a year; just as you would have an annual service on a car. This is good preventive maintenance and will help to increase the life of the machine, limit costly repairs and ensure a good residual value. The best time to get your machine serviced is in the winter months, when you are not using it. So many people do not think about getting their machine serviced until they need it. However, this is when you will find that all service shops are at their busiest dealing with repairs; it makes much more sense to think and plan ahead. Good advice is to put it in your diary now.

Q: Do you charge for collection and delivery of my machine?
A:
Yes we do. We always send a qualified technician to ensure your machine is correctly handled and it also gives you the opportunity to point out any problems with the machine. Prices range between £15 - £40 and we generally only offer this service within a 20 mile radius of Hemel Hempstead.
 
Q: I did not buy my machine from you, but will you service it?
A:
In most cases we only service machines that have been bought from us, although there are some exceptions to this, so it is always worth asking. We usually only service machines if we are an official dealer for the brand.  For a list of these brands please click here.

 
Q: I would like a quote for servicing my machine. Do you have standard rates?
A: Yes we do and these vary depending on the type of machine. Please contact us and a member of our team will be able to tell you the standard servicing charge for your machine(s).

  

Q: I have just moved house and I'm not sure what machines I need to cope with the new land I have?
A: Speak to one of our experts and they will advise you on the best machine(s) for the size and type of land you have. We also offer a local no obligation on-site survey.

Q: Do you buy second hand machinery?
A: Absolutely; whether you are interested in a part exchange for another product or you simply want a buyer for a used machine(s), please contact us.
